About

This Network focuses on Human-Centred Collaborative Autonomy and investigates Cognitive human factors, explainable AI methods, embodied solutions for expressing robots’ intentions and verifiable safety mechanisms enabling trusted Human-System Interactions.

  • This network addresses challenges relevant to the societally acceptable human-centred design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of next-generation autonomous technologies in social and industrial applications.
  • We emphasise the intersection of human cognitive and social factors within the AI for Robotics and Autonomous Vehicle Systems domain to stimulate novel long-range avenues in research, research-driven education, and industrial prototyping and technology transfer.

This network is initiated and steered by a consortium of researchers from academia and industry. Founding members include participants from Chalmers University of Technology, Örebro University, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as well as international collaborators from Europe, the United States, and Japan.
